The library has hundreds of good books to read. It also has a library full of video tape movies to borrow and watch for free.  It has a computer so you could find information on the internet.  It has english and spanish books. Mr. Duarte was the librarian who took us on a tour of the library.  He explained the rules and the policy of the library.  He read us a  funny story and told us funny jokes.  Our class will have to come to the library again to check out some good books.  The Bell House is a blue and white two story house. It has a tree in the garden and different types of flowers and plants growing around it.  The Bell House was built in early 1869 and was owned by James George Bell. It is now a historical site in our community. On the top floor, there is a wonderful museum and has old clothes, toys, dishes, pictures and other things that belonged to James George Bell and his family.

This is Bell's City Hall. At City hall the mayor holds many important meetings to help run the city of Bell. Our mayor's name is Ray Johnson. He controls the meetings and makes sure the City of Bell has no problems. The city council members who help the mayor conduct business of the city are George Cole, Rolf Janssen, Ray Johnson, George Mirabel, George Bass, and  (Victor Bella). Maria A. was chosen from our classroom to be the "Mayor" of Bell. You can see her with a gavel in her hand to call the meeting to order. One day, she wants to be the first woman mayor of Bell. This is Bell's Police Department. Officer Mike Trevis is the Chief of Police of the City of Bell. This is a picture of us in the police meeting room. Officer Tony Danan showed us the guns and the finger printing kit. At the police station, we also got to go inside a real jail cell!  It was not nice. We saw a glass case with old police badges, pictures, and newspaper articles about Bell's Police Station from the past. Officer Alicia Gomez took us to the Dispatch Room and she explained how we should not play with the phone and call 911 just for fun. We could get into lots of trouble. The Bell's Police department does a fantastic job keeping our city safe.
