Thus, we see this amalgamation of cultures manifest itself specifically in religion through many aspects of Mexican Catholicism that are not consistent with European Catholicism, for these aspects have been adapted from the Aztec religion. And yet, Mexican Catholicism did not become radically different than European because the Aztecs where very adept at blending religions.

Another form in which this blend is seen is in the dishes consumed everyday, for corn remains a constant in the Mexican meal, as it does in agriculture. Moreover, methods of agriculture practiced by the Aztecs are still practiced today, as are holidays created at the clash of these two cultures.

In conclusion this clash of cultures gave birth to a new and unique people: the Mexicans.
